Congratulations Tom Power!

After 21 years of service to Graham Library, our Theology librarian Tom Power will be retiring at the end of August. While we anticipate that Tom will still be around in his capacity as an instructor and researcher at Wycliffe College, we will certainly miss his presence here at Graham.

In addition to selecting materials for our Theology collection, Tom participated in our Personal Librarian program and helped many first-year students adjust to the academic rigours of university life. He was often found at the reference desk helping both undergraduate and graduate with their research.

When he is not helping students with their research, Tom is working on his own research projects. He is a prolific scholar in church history and Celtic Christianity. He is the author of numerous books, most recently Trauma and Survival in the Contemporary Church: Historical Responses in the Anglican Tradition, which he co-edited with Jonathan Lofft.

Tom regularly taught research and writing courses to graduate students at Wycliffe College and coordinated distance education there. He was taught information literacy sessions and orientation programming for incoming graduate students.

Please join us in wishing Tom well on his retirement!
