Trinity Takes Trollope Tomes

The John W. Graham Library has received a generous donation of the complete 48 volume set of the Folio Society Edition of the novels of Anthony Trollope. This set comes to the library from Walter M. and Lisa Balfour Bowen, long-time benefactors of Trinity College. These gorgeous books each contain a scholarly introduction and a note on the text. This collection can be found in the Lampman Room on the third floor on the north side of the library

Anthony Trollope was a Victorian novelist whose work was often praised for its realistic yet profound portrayal of the ordinary. His most famous novels are collectively known as the “Chronicles of Barsetshire”, which are set in a fictional county of the same name.
